Question: I have a 2-year-old nephew who seems interested in chess. What advice do you have for teaching chess to someone so young? My nephew sees threats very well. He actually looks at my moves and he loves puzzles and other games. He knows all the pieces, how they move, and even their names. The only thing Im afraid of is chasing him away from chess. Also, if I show him checkmates to learn, should I start with back row mates or mates where you have to protect the queen? Or should I start with openings?
